I had reason and opportunity this week to advise the Libs about a move they make before the opposition do . A move that the Left won't think of themselves being highly reactionary , but one I hoped the Conservatives would recognise before I have to encourage someone to see sense. Polys don't like admitting they don't know .
Even though I had 20 minutes of wrapped attention before Parliament dealt with the order of the day, I have my doubts they will take the gift I offered them .= A way out and a way forward for the vexed issue of environmental assessment. .
I realized after an open discussion that the hardest decision anyone or any party has to face is to say they were wrong .
And even bigger, the decision to reinstate the right. It appears the Libs just won't give up easily there welded on nonsense that "the market knows best" and that the people are best served by allowing Councils to field field complex questions they have no skills to so do .
.I have over the years given more than a few days to the idea of pointing out their error in buck passing their need to know - just quietly . About fed up with being nice .
As you do, if don't want to blame the system, you have to name the idiot; at worst the idiot in charge . Now I will give them a week before I take another step to get common sense . The man still speaks and people still listen - such is the poor state of listening in our country They want it simple .
